REDUCED VERTICAL SEPARATION MINIMUM (RSVM)

RVSM is a must for today’s turbojet and turboprop operators to be cost-efficient and safe.

In January 2005, the FAA designated the airspace from FL290 to FL410 in North America as Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum (RVSM) airspace. Operators are required to obtain special approval for flight operations conducted in this airspace. Approval is predicated upon a properly completed application to the local FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) for each aircraft acquisition. Once the application is approved, an RVSM Letter of Authorization (LOA) is issued that grants RVSM operations.

Some recent (Jan 22nd, 2019) exceptions to LOA requirements are discussed in our blog.

Unfortunately, at this time, Letters of Authorization for RVSM are not transferable to a new owner/operator. A new LOA must be obtained, via a new application package, to operate in RVSM airspace.

Our RVSM services are handled by our partner company JetRVSM. Like AccuAero, JetRVSM is based on superior customer service and response time.  Enjoy worry-free, hassle-free approvals.  International Operations Manuals are also their specialty.  Trust JetRVSM for smooth skies ahead!
